Jackalynn Todd was living a nightmare. She had been sold like a slab of meat by her drunken uncle. She was dirty, hungry and had seldom seen the outside of a trucker’s sleeper in over three weeks. She was sure her life was over until a stranger knocked on the door. She was terrified the trucker would return and told the stranger to go away, but in her heart she hoped he would save her.
