She bumps into Alexander Wilson, a charming and mysterious millionaire, whom she falls in love with. They get married, but on their honeymoon Claire meets Samuel Mac Gregor, a young man who changes her life.
She falls for him and they move to Nova Scotia, where they make friends with the Mi’Kmaws and the Nipniku’s.
Sam is a mysterious young man, whose past hides many secrets. They move to Prince Edward Island, a small island that had been named by the Mi’kmaw as “Rocked by the waves”.
